“La identidad cultural mediante el idioma Kichwa como el valor en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje”

The "Guangaje" Educational Unit is an institution in the rural area of Pujilí Canton with students who self-identify as indigenous and Kichwa speakers, belonging to the Panzaleo ethnic group. However, the teachers have not taught classes in the Kichwa mother tongue as stipulated in the Constitution of the Republic in article one. The objective is to analyze the cultural identity through the Kichwa language, as the value in the teaching-learning process in the students of sixth grade of Basic Education in the strengthening of cultural elements with its positivist paradigm methodology, the quantitative approach with its deductive method. In addition, the types of research are pointed out: field, documentary and descriptive, and that it was a contribution to evidence the incidence of the variables of the study. In the investigation, survey instruments were applied to the actors of the aforementioned educational establishment, then it was possible to obtain their accurate conclusions and recommendations; reason for which it encouraged to look for a solution with answers to the problem. In this way, an intercultural educational booklet was made for the teaching-learning process of the children so that the teachers could put it into practice, motivating the students to strengthen the Kichwa language.
