Резюме:Basic Education School "Santa Marianita de Jesús"? The objective was to diagnose the social development in the boys and girls of Initial 2 of the School of Basic Education "Santa Marianita de Jesús" The research is developed from the qualitative investigative approach, the bibliographic and descriptive exploratory modalities. The diagnosis was made to 31 parents, 31 boys and girls, and a teacher. Three dimensions were involved in the social development of children: cognitive dimension, socio-affective dimension, and communicative dimension. The evaluation carried out through a survey of the parents, an observation sheet for the children, and an interview with the teacher with a qualitative approach. Therefore, the study allowed showing characteristics and activities to improve social skills in children. It concluded that boys and girls in the cognitive dimension (attention) have 64.52%, they are in process, unlike 35.48% at the beginning; in the socio-affective, 67.84% is in the process of development, 32.16% is at the beginning. Finally, in the communicative dimension, 67.84% is in the development process while; 32.16% is at the beginning, consequently, is recommended to improve the educational area with different interaction methodologies that help its better development.
