Gaia:Body development and physical well-being are important elements within the educational context, therefore, throughout history, it has presented various difficulties in the teaching-learning process, which have been linked to the social, economic, cultural, psychological and physical, for this reason, currently educational field has presented a variety of problematic situations related to body development and physical well-being. For this reason, this research project aims to analyze body development and its impact on physical well-being in fourth-year students of Basic General Education, parallel ''D'' of Educational Unit "Province of Cotopaxi", of Cotopaxi province, Pujilí canton, Pujilí Centro neighborhood, during 2022-2023 elective year to maintain good health. For this reason, the applied methodology is based on quantitative approach, which allowed collecting, analyzing and interpreting quantitative data, in addition deductive method was used, because it starts from a general problem to reach specific conclusions. In addition, different research types such as descriptive, bibliographical and participated documentary. For this reason, the survey technique addressed to the students was applied with their respective questionnaire and the interview directed to the teacher, which allowed obtaining information about study variables. The achieved results reflect daily motivation with playful activities, as well as exercises, rounds and games allow development and enhancement skills for children´s motor area , which are responsible for coordination, movement, muscle development, among others. Skills that are substantial in human beings, good practice and development of this area will enable a better development of the person in their natural and social environment. Therefore, the research contributes to improve through the development of recreational activities workshops, which contain objective, skill, resources and feasible materials to put them into practice, which helps to improve body development, physical well-being and academic performance of the students.
