Summary:This research project analyzes different techniques and methods to perform measurements with augmented reality, in order to develop an application that allows measuring the height and diameter of the stalk in an easy way, in addition to determining the state of the corn, this by comparing measurements taken with the help of the App and data obtained weekly from plants previously planted in a lot of 500 square meters. The technique used for the measurement of the corn plant was basically based on the use of ARCore technology and Euclidean distance. To determine the precision of the measurements made, the mean square error estimator was used on a sample of 20 corn plants, obtaining a standard deviation of variance of 0.86 centimeters for the height and 0.14 centimeters for the diameter of the corn stalk.
