Riassunto:This project aims to implement a position control system to a photovoltaic station of 560W, which allowed to improve the use of incident solar radiation in the area by 30%, initially literature research was conducted, where the solar trajectory was analyzed, types of tracking systems and tracking algorithm, then the linear actuator was dimensioned for the movement from east to west, and the astronomical tracking algorithm that calculates the position of the sun in real time by solar equations which use data such as geographic location, date and time, The ON-OFF control type was then selected to control the switching on and off of the 12 V DC motors that contain the linear actuators.
