Su importancia radica en que sin suficiente conocimiento de vocabulario, las personas no pueden comunicarse ni expresar ideas y sentimientos hacia los demás. Este proyecto de investigación surge con la necesidad de realizar un diagnóstico que determine si los estudiantes de 8vo EGB conocen y usan estrategias de aprendizaje al momento de aprender vocabulario de Inglés. En consecuencia, para esta investigación se utilizó el método descriptivo ya que este observa y describe los hechos sin ejercer influencia en ellos.
