| Yhteenveto: | This research work was carried out in the CIAUTO company located in the Ambato Canton, Unamuncho Parish, which has a Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) area where imported units are inspected, one of these is the Glory 560 model, the objective of the work is to standardize the operations carried out in the new model through a time study, which allowed us to identify bottlenecks and unnecessary activities in the process. For the realization of the project we used the synthetic analytical method which allowed us to justify and invalidate certain types of information, then we applied the inductive method which allowed us to observe, classify, study the facts and contrast the information, for the calculation of the sample we used the statistical method that gives us a degree of reliability of 95%, for the assessment of the pace of work we used the Westinghouse method which considers 4 fundamental factors such as skill, effort, conditions and consistency, finally we used the table of supplements of rest of the OIT. Once all the necessary methods and techniques were applied, it was possible to standardize and reduce the operational times of the Glory 560 model by eliminating, relocating and joining activities, resulting in new operational times for each process, which led to an increase in productivity of 4.9% in reception, 6.7% in washing and 9.4% in the engine compartment |
