Sažetak:This research MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF PHYTOPATHOGENIC FUNGI INTO YUCCA CROPS (Manihot esculenta) AT LOS LAURELES SECTOR, LA MANÁ CANTON DURING 2015 PERIOD located at N 0706198 S9889232 and 586 MSL with a temperature of 23 °C and a relative humidity of 92% in order to characterize morphologically the pathogenic fungus with the greatest impact in the production of yucca (Manihot esculenta), by identifying the signs and symptoms in fields, characterizing their macro and microstructures; and the life cycle in laboratory conditions, a teaching guide of fungus on study was developed. For the development of this research, the researcher visited the place where samples of infected leaves and roots with similar characteristics were taken; subsequently, they were labeled and transported to the laboratory. At the laboratory to reproduce it, first agar was prepared in a period of 3 hours, 3 mm of diseased tissue was taken and it was disinfected with a solution of 2:1 Clorox; then it was inoculated in the culture and sealed with paper parafilm. For its incubation temperature of 24 °C was required with a relative humidity of 70% for a period of 5 days. In conclusion; during the investigation, it was found that the life cycle of the fungus which lasted 5 days, in the first 2 days the presence of air cottony mycelium whitish 2 cm was observed and the fifth day showed a mycelium of grayish, and through a trinocular microscope: Olympus 40x lens, elongated and branched hyphae of 20 microns “globosas chlamydospores” of 7 microns semi-curved “macronidios” of 3-5 septa, hyaline “micronidios” with false head from one to two septa of 3.08 microns were identified. After, the results obtained, the researcher did an educational guide to precedent that encourages further research that was developed.
