Sumari:The research project is aimed at developing a conceptual model that allows controlling the temperature and humidity variables thanks to the design of an automatic system, in the greenhouse of the “Quinta Aguja de Oro” farm located in the Alpamalag neighborhood of the Pujilí canton belonging to the Cotopaxi province, the default greenhouse crop is strawberries, because it is the main product that the greenhouse generates, which requires specific conditions for its proper development and productivity, previously the control of conditions was governed by climatic conditions and the transfer of heat inside the greenhouse, causing the loss of the harvest and the shortening of the life of the plants, which is why the investment cost in the production of the fruit increases, causing the processes to be repeated again to carry out production, reflected in the economy of small and medium producers, that is why it arises The need to design an automatic control system, which directly influence the crop, for this purpose the use of air conditioning methods such as natural ventilation, forced ventilation and humidification of the greenhouse was considered, thus achieving to maintain the temperature and humidity ideal for cultivation, bibliographic and field research was applied to determine the state of the art and by means of simulation the same conceptual design that is presented through programming and visualization of the system in a graphical interface was verified, obtaining favorable results in development production of the crop, a list of predetermined products is shown in the program that could be cultivated with their respective conditions, additionally the system offers manual control in case the operator needs to manipulate the variables involved in the system or in case another product other than those included is grown in the software. Finally, it is concluded that the software allows the selection of the product to be cultivated, as well as the visualization of the behavior of the variables in real time to record them in a database.
