Afegir etiqueta | Sumari: | The present work made a diagnosis of the logistic performance in the small companies of the dairy sector of Latacunga Canton, which had a quantitative and quialitative approach. The data collection technique used was the survey composed of five factors: purchases, supply, production, distribution and customer service, information flow. The analysis was carried out through the statistical program SPSS with a sample of forty-one small companies in the sector. It was determined that the distribution factor and customer service is the one that reflects the most problems. An interview was conducted based on the results obtained. A Pareto Diagram was applied; obtaining as a result that the scarce transport for the distribution and the transfer of products in defective drawers are 20% responsible for the majority of the causes that cause the bad logistic performance in the companies of the sector. The increase of transportation and the acquisition of new drawers would be a feasible solution to improve the distribution of the product of each of the small companies, thus achieving optimization of the transport and distribution processes. |
