Summary:The study area is located in the Cotopaxi province, Pujili canton, which has a diversity of cultural and natural attractions, which together with its geographical location (communicating to Latacunga, Zumbahua and La Maná), gives it a privileged position that can be decisive for its positioning and tourism development. For this reason, the project titled “Feasibility study for the identification of tourism potential and establishment of tourist routes in the Pujilí canton, Cotopaxi province”, was carried out to face three objectives established in random order focusing on knowing the current reality of the canton through of a PEST analysis based on political, economic, social and technological parameters which gives a macro view of the study area; after that the tastes and preferences of tourists through a market study was determined and once the tabuled data was analyzed the research potential attractions to locate them in sequence and create two routes, cultural and a natural whit three circuits were stablished, they were added with all the activities and tourism services that can be use; in conclusion, tourism in Pujili Canton can be enhanced with investigations that gives importance to the needs that the tourist require.
