Incidencia de los costos en la rentabilidad de la empresa textiles Cotopaxi xpotextil cía. Ltda., ubicada en la parroquia Joseguango bajo, cantón Latacunga provincia de Cotopaxi, en el periodo del año 2017.

This research was applied during the economic period 2017 to analyze the impact of costs and the profitability of the company in the elaboration of fabrics such as: Standard, Gold and Platinum, nowadays, it is located in Agua Clara Neighborhood, Joséguango Bajo Parish, Latacunga, it was presented through the compilation of bibliographic information, application of research techniques and instruments as interviews and comparison of results obtained during the year. Firstly, it was identified the processes and cost elements necessary to manufacture fabrics (Jersey ©, pique, fleece, Jersey Lycra), then each of the activities within the processes were analyzed, and an accounting process was elaborated to determine if there is profitability, beginning with the chart of accounts, the statement of financial situation, daily book, extension, balance of verification, statement of results and finally the state of final situation, where the cost of raw material of each department was determined, manpower used and the annual indirect costs of manufacturing that the company has, this helped to obtain the total cost of each product and the unit sale price taking into account the percentage of utility , the same as helped to determine the profitability.
