| Izvleček: | This research work establishes the application of the "Peak Shaving" method as an energy management alternative in the Company Rhinoplast S.A. that despite its 10 years of life, this industry for the manufacture of high and low density plastic covers presents an accelerated growth in its industrial plant, therefore, the need was seen to carry out a study to improve its management in the electrical field. In order to implement the Peak Shaving method in this industry, a study of the installed load must first be carried out through field inspection and using a power quality analyzer to obtain the daily demand curve and identify peak hours. During the study it was evidenced that this company presents peak demand between the hours of 08:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. and from 06:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 0.08 to 0.10 cents. Based on all this background we have proposed three case studies for the implementation of the Peak Shaving method. |
