Итог:The main objective of the current investigation is to evaluate the solar energetic potential starting from the data of global radiation which allows the design of a network connected photovoltaic energy generation system using national and international norms, for house number 10 of the neighborhood of La Paz located in the county of Riobamba in the province of Chimborazo. The methodology used in the research project consisted of the usage of the inductive-deductive method; observation techniques, information analysis of institutions such as INAMHI and CONELEC, calculations through mathematical models and the informatic technology though the usage of different software were used which allowed results analysis and the design of the photovoltaic system. In the main obtained results, it was found that the radiation of the month of March is the lowest, however it can supply the operativity of the system, thus a quantity of 6 panels has an approximate cost of $ 6847,45, an investment which can be regained after keeping the system working for 20 years, has a useful life of 25 years, and represents 5 years of free usage of the system, since it generates 2083,82 kWh for a year which means $ 273,05 income for generated energy.
