| Summary: | ICT (Information and Communication Technology) is essential to be competitive in the new educational models, conceiving our society as part of world globalization. Paradoxically, the current education in Ecuador has great disadvantages especially in rural schools with regards to classroom management and the use of computer teaching and learning resources. This research project took place in Isinliví, Sigchos County. It was researched relevant bibliography on classroom management issues and application of computer teaching resources, teacher training and updating. Previously was carried out a study which determined as hypothetical statements that 75% of teachers had difficulties integrating computer tools into the classroom, 80% were interested in learning about technology, and 70% were interested in the program. 100% of schools in the study had computer equipment; however, only 20% of the computers were functional. The research techniques (surveys) tested the hypotheses; 100% of teachers want to be trained, 94% of students claim that teachers should be trained with these results has set out to design a training program and credentials to be held in four workshops framed the following issues and subthemes: tools of academic management, academic content, academic support and tools for classroom assessment, thereby achieving proper management of ICT in the teaching-learning process, the direct beneficiaries are the students through trained teachers ceasing academic routine, turning them into innovative, dynamic, creative, critical, reflective human beings and strengthening the educational work inside and outside the classroom. |
