| Summary: | The research process carried out was aimed at solving the following problem: How to form creative thinking in Fifth Grade students of the "Víctor Manuel Rendón" school, Valencia canton; Los Ríos province?, for its solution it was proposed as an objective: To develop a didactic strategy for the formation of creative thinking in Fifth Grade students, in the methodological part of a mixed approach and an applied type of research, and methods were used. of the theoretical, empirical and statistical levels which allowed to carry out the investigation and arrive at the following conclusions: The study allowed to base from the theoretical point of view the formation of creative thought, the diagnosis and the proposal of transformation of the contextual reality; the diagnosis of the current state of the use of strategies for the formation of creative thinking in Fifth Grade students allowed revealing the insufficiencies that they present in the selected sample; the design and validation of the didactic strategy made it possible to determine the feasibility and relevance for the formation of creative thinking in Fifth Grade students and the evaluation of the results of the partial application of the didactic strategy allowed to support that it constitutes an alternative for the formation of the creative thinking in students of Fifth Grade of Basic Education. |
