Descripció
Sumari:The purpose of this project was to analyze the pre and postoperative hematological values in canines that present fractures of forelimbs and hind limbs, with preoperative prophylactic antibiotic therapy, using laboratory tests to establish surgical protocols, for this, 15 canines with fractures were treated in “San Andrés” hospital, who underwent osteosynthesis surgery, with the application of three routine antibiotic therapy protocols. The research technique that I used, was experimental with DCA and with a Tukey test. To establish the hematological values, a clinical record was made per patient for follow-up; it was classified into 3 groups each one made up of 5 canines. The preoperative results show that 33.3% of the patients had chronic and acute inflammation, 20% of patients presented stress formula, 13.3% with leukocyte alterations that showed presence of tension, 6.66% have a reaction to an immune response, 6.66% to the patient showed with focal inflammation, and 20.08% of the canines didn't have alterations of the analytes on days 15 and 30, alterations weren`t observed. The present project develops a technical impact due to the creation of a new protocol that can be very useful for doctors specializing in traumatology.
