“El uso de la tecnología en la educación continua”

Nowadays, education is fundamental for the integral development of people and society, which is why many professionals and students have opted to continue their studies and place themselves at the forefront of the constant updates that globalization brings, the most prominent is undoubtedly the field of ICT, which has created a world of possibilities that provide facilities for the process of continuing education. From the above, the following question arises: What is the use of technology in continuing education? Taking into account that the objective of this project is to analyze the use of technology in continuing education in the Educational Unit "Rosa Zarate" of Salcedo Canton, Cotopaxi Province, year 2023. The methodology was based on a quantitative approach which allowed to perceive the reality within the educational context through the analysis of statistical data, the type of research was field research because it allowed to directly analyze the object studied, as well as documentary research was applied which allowed to record and develop the theoretical framework of the research; the method applied is deductive. The technique used was the survey technique with its instrument, the questionnaire given to the students, as well as the interview technique with its instrument, the interview guide, which was applied to the general inspector of the institution under study. The results obtained after the analysis of the use of technology in continuing education applied to teachers is the need for continuity in the updating of contents. This project contributes to the development of digital competencies by creating opportunities to strengthen the knowledge and skills of teachers and students, since technology seeks to innovate the teaching and learning processes.
