總結:This project focuses on construction design of a two-axis solar tracker which will allow to optimize energy harvesting in a 560 W photovoltaic system implemented at Technical University of Cotopaxi, initially calculations are made on environmental and physical parameters from the site important for selection of optimal materials for mechanical structure of solar tracking system and its construction as the electrical part of control. The design and implementation of the two-axis solar tracking system electromechanical systems are developed using evolutionary methodologies to check their operation based on solar radiation of location site, it is designed, build and test taking into account the information from radiation analysis, a daily and monthly movement orientation was proposed. Building mechanical system was the challenging part of this system generally the motor that was used, allowed daily tracking (east - west movement) and electric elevator performs a seasonal tracking (north - south movement) therefore the daily tracking motor works continuously and the actuator acts with annual movement works only a few times during the year. The two-axis solar tracking PV system can produce up to 30% more electrical power in a year compared to a fixed-tilt PV system to be economically feasible, a solar tracker must be cost effective too, durable and reliable over the long term despite gain in electrical performance.
