Evaluación del comportamiento agronómico de tres líneas promisorias y dos variedades de avena (avena sativa l.) del INIAP bajo las condiciones agroclimáticas del Campus Salache.

The present research was conducted at the Technical University of Cotopaxi- CEASA Campus in cooperation with the INIAP cereal program, with the objective of evaluating the agronomic performance of three promising lines and two varieties of oats (Avena sativa L. ), from INIAP under agroclimatic conditions of the study site, for this trial was implemented a completely randomized block design (DBCA) with five treatments and three replications with a total of 15 experimental units, the variables evaluated were: percentage of emergence, vigor, growth habit or bearing, number of grains per panicle, panicle length, yield, hectoliter or specific weight and diseases and viruses, these variables were those indicated in the manual No. 111 "Evaluation and Selection Parameters in Cereals" published by INIAP (2019), based on the Zadoks and Cobb scale. The data obtained were analyzed using INFOSTAT 2.0 software where Shapiro-Wilk normality tests were applied, as well as Turkey test at 5% for the sources of variations that presented statistical significance. From the results achieved in the research it was determined that the INIAP FORTALEZA variety presented a height of 115 cm, erect growth habit, good plant vigor, number of grains 26.67, yield 1645.46 kg ha-1, hectoliter weight 36. 65 kg hl-1 and a susceptibility to moderately resistant diseases followed by the line AS-11-005 which presented a height of 103.33 cm, erect growth habit, good plant vigor, number of grains 28.67, yield 1929.05 kg ha-1, hectoliter weight 34.66 kg hl-1 and a susceptibility to moderately resistant diseases.
