| Sažetak: | The workload and pace of work is a fundamental aspect in the field of human resources management that significantly influences the success and development of the organization. The present study focuses on analyzing the workload and pace of work in the Municipal GAD of Latacunga to improve the well-being of public servants. The methodology used in the research is descriptive, with a quantitative approach. A sample of 66 employees was selected from a population of 80 from the Human Talent Department. To support the validity of the data collection instrument; In this case of the survey, a reliability analysis is carried out in Cronbach's Alpha which yielded a coefficient of 0.641 equivalent to “reliable”. The data was collected from the data obtained in the Startical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS), in which the results of the dimensions analyzed indicate that the majority of employees perceive their workload as average (56.1%), the impact on health and well-being as low (51.5%), work pace and efficiency as medium (69.7%), and the balance between work and personal life also at a medium level (69.7%). Furthermore, the general result of the questionnaire reflects that the majority of employees perceive an average level of pace and workload (45.5%). Based on these results, improvement strategies have been implemented such as: optimizing the efficiency of GAD employees in the province of Latacunga, reducing work stress to improve employee well-being, improving work processes to lighten the load and work pace and create a positive and motivating work environment. Therefore, some phases were proposed here to improve the workload and pace of work, which are: Preparation and Planning, Communication and Training, Implementation of strategies, Monitoring and Evaluation. In conclusion, with these phases and strategies, this project seeks to provide valuable information that contributes to the development of improvements in the workload and pace of work of the employees of the Administrative Area of the Municipal GAD of the Latacunga Canton. |
