Opis
Izvleček:The white fly is a small sucking insect, what can cause great damage to crops, affecting their normal development and transmitting diseases. The current research was made in the greenhouse from Agronomy career from Cotopaxi Technical University, in order to assess the control of three types of essential oils in emulsion Ruta graveolens, Anethum graveolens and Mentha spp., for white fly control (Trialeurodes vaporariorum), which the were established three concentrations at 0%, 25% and 50%. Arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (DCA) with an A*B factorial arrangement of nine treatments and three repetitions with a total twenty-seven experimental units, they were focused in each treatment approximately twenty individuals from species under study on the leaf area. It was proceeded to apply the oils in emulsion with the help a spray bottle, it was collected data from the dead individuals, was made every five minutes after application for thirty minutes. Where it was made the counting and extraction from dead individuals. The data were tabulated under an ANOVA analysis and a 5% Tukey test. The got results determined, that essential oils in emulsion, if it controles the white fly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum) in spinach crops under controlled conditions, with an average 20 dead individuals from Ruta graveolens to the first five minutes, it followed by an average 4.33 dead individuals from Mentha spp at ten minutes and for an average 3.00 dead individuals from Anethum graveolens at ten minutes, therefore it is advisable to use rue oil at a concentration 50%.
