Selección de los aspirantes a docentes

This research aims to diagnose the current situation of the aspiring teachers’ selection through the application field research, to generate improvement alternatives in the comprehensive training processes at the Basic Education Career in the Technical University of Cotopaxi. Currently, by great technological, economic and social changes it has been characterized that demand the competent formation and fully prepared professionals, and for this reason the need to raise the university education quality, with the teacher being a fundamental element, so that the aspirants selection is emphasized in teaching vocation who are able to face the pedagogical skills that are required and in turn be subject to the contemporary educational requirement expectations. In a descriptive field study is framed this project, which used methods and techniques such as document review, questionnaire and survey. The results obtained were analyzed quantitatively from the percentage analysis and the scores provided generated conclusions and recommendations. With this research you will obtain reliable and truthful results that contribute to the macro project development of the Education Sciences Career Mention Basic Education and therefore to the scientific and technological development of the Technical University of Cotopaxi.
