| Resumo: | This research bases its study on fine motor skills in the development of writing in the Educational Unit "Manuelita Sáenz," located in the Ignacio Flores Parish, Ashpacruz neighborhood, Latacunga Canton, Cotopaxi Province, in the school year 2023-2024, taking into account that in the educational institution the teachers limit the use of dynamic activities in the educational environment. This aspect has caused inconveniences in the educational environment since the students do not awaken the total interest in the class. For this reason, teachers must apply creative activities focused on fine motor skills that contribute significantly to writing development. In this sense, the present study aims to enhance fine motor skills in developing writing in the Educational Unit "Manuelita Sáenz." A qualitative approach based on inductive and descriptive methods was used for the research methodology. The data were obtained through observation and interviews, applying the observation guide for the students and the interview guide for the teacher. It made it possible to analyze the events from the place of the facts, contributing to explaining the phenomenon under study. As a result, it was found that students show deficiencies in writing and motor difficulties, which may be related to the lack of use of engaging activities. Therefore, a didactic guide was designed to motivate teachers to apply several activities aimed at the dynamic participation of students. |
