| Shrnutí: | The present study is aimed at the design and construction of a transfemoral prosthesis, for patients with amputation of the lower limbs above the knee, through the use of alternative, light, resistant and economical materials that meet both the physical and anatomical demands of Each patient improving performance and quality of life in people with transfemoral amputation, making the mobility of patients more precise and similar to the movements of locomotion of a person who has not suffered any type of motor difficulty in one of his legs , In addition to adapting to any patient that does not exceed 60 kg and that has low mobility k1, k2 low bone, with only the replacement of 2 mechanisms that are the socket and supporting pillar. The methodology used is exploratory, descriptive and bibliographical, they allow to know the magnitude of the project, the social and economic contribution. The results of resistance of the prosthesis determine that the designs and materials used in the achievement of the project comply with a factor of safety greater than 1 which means a greater reliability in the prototype, in addition the security factor the most critical of the whole model Is 2.43 which corresponds to the knee-pillar joint. The orthopedic model will efficiently comply with the construction parameters, generating patient reliability and improving their quality of life. |
