Summary:This project had the objective of designing a strategic management model for the positioning of the Hotel Las Cascadas in the La Maná canton, an analysis of the business environment of the business, the interior of the company and the organization of the competitors was carried out to establish the organizational foundations, long and short term goals. Following the qualitative approach of the field research, bibliographic-documentary and feasible of a descriptive type, in which analytical and historical methods were used, with the use of the interview, observation and survey. The hotel manager and 92 clients participated as informants. From the data that was collected, the SWOT and PEYEA matrix was established, from which strategies were designed aligned with the proposed short term strategic objectives in order to increase income by 5% per year, with 10% increase in the number of lodgings each year until 2024 and increase annual Internet sales by 5% from 2020 sales. It is estimated that with the implementation of the defined strategies the hotel will obtain positive balances of its accumulated profit from the first year, in addition, the results of the ROI and the VAN indicated that the project is feasible, therefore, the proposed management model will contribute to the development of the organization.
