Zusammenfassung:Wastewater from the San José neighborhood of El Chaco, Napo province has higher concentrations, at sample of the inlet pipe to the plant at the following parameters: chemical oxygen demand, biochemical demand of oxygen, Nitrites and Nitrates in the sample well output chemical oxygen demand, biochemical demand of oxygen, Nitrites and Nitrates do not meet the maximum permissible limits according to the TULSMA book VI, annex 1, Table10. Discharge limits to a body of fresh water. Discharges of wastewater without any treatment to bodies of fresh water or natural water channels can cause various environmental impacts that affect the health of surrounding populations. The present Reseorch proposes a solution to this problem, with the elaboration of a redesign for said plant whose starting point is the results of the laboratory analysis. The mitigation process of the impacts will be with the implementation of: creeping, settler and aerating. It was the different calculations taking into account the design flow for a future population, the same that was determined with the respective calculation and expressed as 0,023m3/s. The characteristics of each one of the processes were established as: creeping; Grid area (0.31m2), bars number (5), the primary settler, qualified the current one since it is within the considerable limits for its operation, the volume of activated sludge aerator of 813,80m3 to later know the following characteristics, Hydraulic retention time (9,82h) Mass load, (0,43 kg DQO/kg SSLM.d) purge flow (18.98 m3/d), recirculation flow (580,04 m3/d), recirculation rate 29%, food / microorganisms ratio (F/M) (0,4), the diameter settler of D= 15m, Taking the proposed proposal as a reference, it will be possible to comply with established regulations in the country for the evaluated pollutants.
