| Gaia: | The present investigation with the theme "Literacy in students of General Basic Education of the Leaders of the Future School" has as a general objective to determine the level of literacy in students of the third year of Basic Education; To achieve the objective, we worked with a quantitative approach, using the survey technique, giving an analysis of the literacy learning factors within the study population, where through the results obtained with percentage numerical bases, different teaching strategies with the use of ICT as tools for teaching and learning literacy. The research is of an applied modality with a proposal design validated by specialists and users which determines its feasibility, affirming that the proposed strategies are optimal for its application. In conclusion, the use of ICT as a didactic tool for the teaching-learning process of literacy is important since it allows students to strengthen oral and writing skills, allowing cognitive development, stimulating domains such as phonological awareness, knowledge of the print and the alphabet, comprehension and structure of texts, reading and critical thinking. |
