| Тойм: | This research was carried out in the community of Carrera, Cayambe canton in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the organs (leaves, stem, and flowers) of false tobacco (Nicotiana glauca) as a bioinsecticide for the control of the fruit fly genus Anastrepha. It was developed through a completely randomized experimental design, it consists of four treatments with different numbers of observations, for which extracts were elaborated with each vegetative part of the false tobacco, later the counting and labeling of the 100 flies per each treatment and 50 flies as a control. Later, sponges with 30 cc of each of the extracts and molasses were placed in all the glasses. For the data recording of the number of dead flies, it was carried out in the course of 24 hours; meanwhile, to determine their mortality time, it was waited until the death of the last individual. The investigation yielded the following results: the most effective extract during the 24 hours was from the Nicotiana glauca flower with an average of 0.32 dead individuals, which is why it is deduced that there is a high significant difference between the other treatments. On the other hand, based on the tukey test with 5 %, the mortality time of the flies was determined with each of the extracts, the leaf extract with an average of 4.96 days, stem extract with an average of 4.12 days, flower extract with an average of 1.90 days and control with an average of 23.48 days, which shows that the Nicotiana glauca bioinsecticide does act on the fruit fly. |
