Shrnutí:This study assesses the effect about concentrations of urea level in blood plasma and milk in relation to pregnancy rate in dairy cows at La Lola CATTLE RANCH in Mejia Canton Mejia, Pichincha Province. Three groups of seven dairy cows for first, second and third calve respectively were formed for determining if high concentrations of urea in plasma and milk increased or decreased conception rates. Samples of both blood and milk were taken directly from the animals on their artificial insemination day (day 1), then at 24 hours (day 2) and at 48 hours (day 3) post insemination and immediately transported to laboratory. According to the results with reference to the high levels of BUN in the first and second dose, group G2 stressed with 5.30 mmol / l and 5.58 mmol / l respectively; and the third dose the G1 group with 5.88 mmol / l. In the same way, it took place in the high levels of MUN where the highest content in the first and second dose has the G2 group with 42.71 mg / dl and 47.42 mg / dl respectively....
