| सारांश: | This research aimed to compile information on the activities in which agroindustrial engineers of the Agroindustry major performed in the last decade to determine how many of them generated their own entrepreneurship. Additionally, to know if the scientific-technical knowledge acquired on campus is sufficient to perform within an enterprise or if greater interaction between theory and practice is needed. This project has a descriptive approach since the qualities and percentages of the surveys carried out in the companies in which the professionals' work are described. As a result, it is obtained that 16% of the professionals generated their own entrepreneurship, 56% indicated the high competitiveness in the market is the most serious problem they have overcome in the generation of their entrepreneurship, 36% mentioned they work in areas related to their profession, 31% work in other activities and 33% do not currently work. It was also determined that 34% of the graduates mentioned that the practical area of knowledge should be strengthened in the training of the agroindustrial engineer; it is noted that, within the basic sciences, mathematics is the most important for professional life. 28% indicate that the use of formulas and the efficient use of technology are the technical knowledge they face most frequently. Finally, with the information obtained, the contributions provided by agroindustrial engineers to society with the generation of new ventures are evidenced. In this sense, a brief historical review of each enterprise is made, describing the beginning of its operation, the date of its creation, the most commercialized products, distribution places with their respective logos, generated by the professionals of the last decade of the Agroindustry major at the Technical University of Cotopaxi. |
