| Riassunto: | In the process of exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits, associated with oil and natural gas produces water. Once the production site is located on the surface, it is necessary to conduct a process of separation of its components, which are used for mechanical processes supported by the use of chemicals that facilitate the separation of water, gas and oil. Within the process of separation in a production station, the mechanical conditions remain constant, because the separation equipment are designed to operate within certain parameters of operation and hence the efficiency of the process depends largely on the qualities posed by chemical injection. To select the best products, according to operating conditions and characteristics of the fluids should be developed laboratory tests according to standards set by international technical agencies such as the standard NACE (National Associate Corrosion Engineer) and ASTM (American Standard Testing Material), based on scientific studies that consider the most important variables in the separation process. In the development of research work in the first instance identify wells which produced fluids cause instability in the production and processing system then establishes the relationship between the oxygen production of these wells over the total field production. For the development of laboratory tests to simulate the separation process is necessary to determine the conditions of production such as residence time, temperature and chemical concentrations injected. The selection of the best products to be dosed is established according to a table of valuation considered: technical performance in tests, the technical feasibility of proposed mergers and economic performance provided by supplier companies. For the technical evaluation of field application of the best selected chemicals in the laboratory, one must distinguish those used in the dehydration process with those used order to protect the integrity of production facilities. The former must meet guidelines established by the National Directorate of Hydrocarbons by Executive Decree 014 and Official Record 280 of February 26, 2004 Article 10, while the latter must comply with the requirements laid down in PETROPRODUCCION Meeting Minutes prior to testing laboratory. In both . cases it is measured, in addition, the economic performance through the implementation of the proposed performance. Proper selection and application of chemicals in the Lago Agrio field represented a savings of 32 PETROPRODUCCION $ 477.20 per month. |
