Patrimonio Cultural inmaterial. Ámbitos: Tradiciones y Expresiones Orales; Usos Sociales, Rituales y Actos Festivos del cantón Salcedo.

The present research project is based on the intangible cultural heritage, A1 and A3 areas of Salcedo Canton. In order to get the first objective, using the Ethnographic Methodology, a diagnosis of the intangible heritage was carried out, through the techniques and tools that carry the order to comply with the Methodology surveys to the inhabitants of the different parishes, in order to fulfill the first objective which provided the primary and secondary information focusing on the elaboration of strategic questions focused on the current situation of the National Cultural Heritage Institute (INPC), where they were detailed in the results and data systematization. Subsequently, the INPC methodology was used where the inventory sheets focused on the A1 and A3 areas were filled out with the help of the key actors and the snowball tool was able to fill in the data required by it, obtaining as a result that Salcedo Canton contains A1 area with sub areas: Myths and narratives of local memory, in the same way it was known that it has A3 area with sub areas: festivals or religious celebrations fulfilling the second objective. Finally, the purpose of the project is to develop a virtual descriptive guide to try to promote the initiative of the interest of future generations to safeguard the different manifestations, therefore a guide was elaborated, it covers diverse cultural manifestations that involve the A1 and A3 areas inventoried during the field work, for the elaboration of the guide, 3 different programs were implemented for the elaboration of the cover, elaboration of the content and for make the drawings, consequently, mechanisms were established to systematize information from the inventory and the surveys carried out among the different inhabitants of the 6 parishes that belong to the canton, thus achieving the fulfillment of the third objective.
