Sammanfattning:The main objective of the research carried out was to implement a hybrid electricity generation system of 5kW from methane gas as a source of renewable energy in the UTC extension La Maná, period April 2023-August 2023. The problem was focused due to the little importance that humanity gives to the generation of energy through renewable sources, which allows to have a healthy environment and a better quality of life, as is the case of biogas or methane gas, starting up a hybrid system. In order to achieve the aforementioned objective, the qualitative type was established as a methodology, under the types of bibliographic, field, experimental research, in the same way, an experimental type design was carried out. Among the most relevant conclusions, it can be highlighted that it was possible to take advantage of the amount of biogas to produce energy, evidencing that the electric generator carried out its functions without problems, developing a measurement in a period of no more than 30 minutes, generating 120V to 240V according to what established respectively for a period of one hour; since, after this time, the generator had already consumed all the fuel filled in the cylinder.
