It is applied as a methodology the CAMEL method under financial ratios, what allows banking entities under study state broader vision into aspects such as: Capital, Assets, Administrative Management, Profitability and Liquidity, with a got database of secondary source such as the Banks Superintendence. Besides, it is worked with the sample mean differences method, which allows to observe if the banking sector has had a significant difference, before and after confinement. Into said analysis, it was evidenced, which into 29 of 30 banks analyzed, they were found significant differences and the indicators, and the indicators than the greatest difference are related with the Capital, managerial management and Profitability edges. |

De este modo el objeto del presente proyecto se describió el impacto del Covid-19 en los indicadores financieros de las instituciones bancarias del Ecuador en periodo de tiempo de 6 meses antes del confinamiento y 6 meses después del confinamiento el mismo que nos permitió verificar el desempeño del sector bancario ecuatoriano ante la situación sanitaria que está viviendo el país. Como metodología se aplicó el método CAMEL bajo ratios financieros que permite tener una visión más amplia del estado en que se encuentra las entidades bancarias en estudio en aspectos como: Capital, Activos, el Manejos Administrativo, Rentabilidad y la Liquidez, con base de datos obtenidos desde la fuente secundaria como es de la Superintendencia de Bancos. Además, se trabajó con el método de diferencias de medias muéstrales el mismo que permite observar si el sector bancario ha tenido una diferencia significativa antes y después del confinamiento.
