Description
Summary:This research aims to analyze the (GPS) Guarantee Participation Systems of ‘De la mata a la olla’ fair partners in Salcedo canton. This research was descriptive with a qualitative and quantitative approach, with emphasis on verification, observation, and proper zoning of each of the producers from the different parishes: Mulalillo, Cusubamba, Mulliquindil (Santa Ana), and San Miguel. Technical study techniques were used, such as the survey and the observation through the Rikcharina application, which was based on questions according to the Guarantee Participation Systems, where the part of soil management, crops, water, forestry, ecosystem, animals, environment, marketing, post-harvest, and training, allowing the researcher to know the current reality of each of the producers from the different parishes, 23 producers were studied. Statistical methods with graphs permitted the researcher to identify aspects that producers need to be agroecological. The results obtained were that 43% of the producers are in the start category since it continues to incorporate some of the standard inputs of traditional production, in the sense that more significant and technical supports are certainly needed to develop this productive and commercial initiative; and 57% of the producers, this being the majority of those surveyed, are within the transition category, which means, that significant gradients are recognized in terms of agroecological evolution. Concluding that the organization located in Salcedo canton presents a large percentage of producers located in the parameter of beginning and transition, being a young organization, it seeks to work in more detail with each partner to achieve compliance with what is established by the GPS.
