For this action, it is considered to quantify the vehicles during peak hours (07:00 - 08:00, 12:00 to 13:00 and 17:00 to 6:00 p.m.). Ten strategic points were distributed in Salcedo Canton. The results showed that in the study area circulate around 5334 vehicles per day. Of all, 1893 are cars; vans1813; 875 trucks, 535 buses and 128 motorcycles. Likewise, the noise levels monitored in points selected projected the following results: P1 (Av Jaime Mata Yerovi y Calle Guayaquil.). It has an average of 98,17dB; followed by P6 (Calle García Moreno and Quito) to 81.08 dB, the P5 (Calle García Moreno and Sucre) with 77.9 dB, the P3 (Calle Abdon Calderon and Sucre) with 77.07, the P4 (Av. Olmedo and Garcia Moreno) to 74.32 dB, the P10 (Av. September 19 and Belisario Quevedo) with 73.86 dB, the P2 (Calle Bolivar and Rocafuerte) to 71.91 dB, the P9 (Av. 19 September and Gonzales Suarez) with 71.67 dB, the P7 (Calle Ana Paredes and Sucre) with 65.69 dB and P8 (Calle Ricardo Garcés and May 24) to 52.37 dB, the average which is within the allowable limit.
