| Streszczenie: | This research aims to evaluate three quantities of compost in two production methods: sexual (seeds) and asexual (stakes), in the Loquat species (Eriobotrya japonica); the study was developed in two stages: first, conditioning of the residual sludge from the food industry where the compost was obtained with two processes: the forced aeration method which is effective and fast because the composting parameters (pH 7, temperature 56 ° C, humidity 35%) were in optimal ranges and it was obtained in 9 weeks; while the manual aeration method had a difference in the composting parameters, for this reason, it took 15 weeks with the same result; however, the compost of this method was not able to be used due to time since the second stage of the study began. The Random Block Design was implemented as methodology, the effect of three percentages of substrate were compared: 25%, 50%, 75%, and the soil of the place used (control) in two methods of propagation seeds, and stakes with 2 repetitions and 16 treatments in total. To check the differences between variables, an analysis of variance, and the 5% Tukey significance test were performed in the treatments. In the three percent of compost, by seed propagation, at 50% (a2b2) the 20 seeds germinated, giving a total of 100% germination in four weeks; at 75% (a3b2), 16 seeds germinated, giving 76% of germination in three weeks with an average leaf size of 2.25 and in the stem of 4.10 in height; at 25%, 18 seeds germinated giving a percentage of 95% germination in 6 weeks; the control (a4b2), 15 seeds germinated giving, as a result, 75% germination in 8 weeks. In the method of propagation by stakes, in the three amounts of percentages of substrate 25%, 50%, 75%, there were shoots of 10% of the planted stakes, while in the control soil did not sprout any plants, so the substrate percentage at 75% is where the best results were obtained in the sowing of Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) by the seed production method |
