Blood samples before each application were taken for 5 days in a row for blood borne interpretation regarding parameters….La presente investigación se realizó en la provincia de Cotopaxi, cantón Latacunga, Parroquia Eloy Alfaro, barrio Salache Grande en el Centro de Experimentación y Producción Salache (CEYPSA) de la Unidad Académica de Ciencias Agropecuarias y Recursos Naturales (UA-CAREN). El objetivo de éste estudio fue analizar el efecto del filgrastim® (r-Met-Hu-G-CSF) en la producción y movilización de células madre hematopoyéticas (CMH) en la especie cobaya, para ello se llevó a cabo la aplicación de tres diferentes dosis 5 μg, 10 μg, y 15 μg de filgrastim comparado con un grupo control (testigo); en cada tratamiento se trabajó con 5 cobayos de línea Perú, de 2 meses de edad, peso de 800-1000 gr. y sexo macho. Se aplicaron las dosis establecidas vía subcutánea durante 4 días consecutivos con intervalos de 24 horas.
