Sumario:The purpose of this research is the evaluation of ergonomic risks in Empresa Eléctrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. period 2021 - 2022, for this was analyzed the forced postures, manual handling of loads, repetitive movements, and application of force, for this information was collected where, a questionnaire of 22 questions based on the Nordic Questionnaire was used, then for the analysis of results the explanatory method was used that helped to give an exhaustive analysis of the results, to finally make known the ergonomic risks presented in the operational area of the substation La Peninsula of the department of distribution of electrical networks. In addition, the Ergosoft Pro software was used in this research, which evaluates different risk factors and provides accurate results with a minimum error of 0.5, which is close to the reality of the different types of risk present in each employee. After conducting this research within the operational process of EEASA, it was possible to identify 39% of ergonomic positions with a critical risk, for which it was proposed within the action plan to implement a work instruction where it is mentioned to perform active breaks during the task, take a 10-minute break during the rotation of activity, work with accessories for spinal protection, do exercises for muscle relaxation, which will help prevent musculoskeletal injuries in operators. In addition, the application of the questionnaire allowed us to determine that 35% of the human talent personnel involved in the operative process usually handle loads between 1kg to 4kg, which are dangerous, and thirteen ergonomic positions studied, which generate musculoskeletal injuries.
