Riassunto:The teaching material is very important in the classroom, as it draws the attention of the students and allows them to build their own knowledge in a dynamic environment, that is why this research was carried out to determine the incidence of didactic resources in the process of teaching Social Studies of the children of the sixth year of Basic General Education of the Educational Unit "La Maná" during the period 2016 - 2017. According to the results found it was possible to show that teachers in this area do not use daily teaching resources at the time of teaching, causing students to lose interest in the subject because their teacher is limited to making use of chalk and blackboard, developing traditional classes and generating knowledge gaps in their students. The research techniques that were used were the interview and the survey the same ones that gave us as a result that the didactic resources in the area of Social Studies are very important but they do not count with the variety of the same for the learning process, the execution of the project was feasible taking into account that there was support from the authorities of the institution, parents, teachers and students.
