Shrnutí:The objective of this research project is to develop a comparative study of different methodol-ogies for the digital maturity diagnosis, identifying the most suitable methodology to be applied in the Ecuadorian context. An investigation of all existing methodologies with each of their approaches were carried out, making a pre-selection by evaluating evaluation criteria such as strategic conditions, organizational and technological capabilities, infrastructure, products and services. With the application of the selected methodologies in the company Dannytex it was possible to establish differences and similarities in the results of each one, having as a result in HADA a conscious level, IMPULS at beginner level and in PYMES a novice level reaching a similar result among the three indicating that the company has a low level of digital maturity and that it is involved in industry 4.0 but lacks strategic relevance and faces a digital transfor-mation process. In economic terms, it was identified that the HADA methodology has a lower cost than the others since it has fewer questions in its surveys and at the same time covers the dimensions that IMPULS and PYMES have, providing in its final report a pentagram of all its dimensions to be evaluated, with the results of the company compared to other organizations.
