Achoimre:Currently, technological development allows optimising the productive processes of plant life, as well as providing modern alternatives for adequate crop growth, since the problem lies in the lack of a control and monitoring system that negatively affects the productivity and development of the plant in the greenhouse, which hinders the photosynthesis process due to an insufficient level of carbon dioxide and an unknown pH that affect the soil. Therefore, the objective of the research is to implement a pH monitoring system and control of CO_2, through the programming of a PLC and the incorporation of sensors, in order to improve the variables that affect the plant for the exploitation present in the greenhouse, which is developing specifically for the benefit of teachers and students of Agricultural Engineering through an automated system that allows the monitoring and control inside the greenhouse N°1 campus Salache of the Technical University of Cotopaxi. The control of carbon dioxide generation was carried out through the acquisition of data evaluated with respect to time and climate, in addition it is managed at minimum values of 420 ppm and in a time span of 10 minutes it can generate up to 500 ppm, on the other hand to generate maximum values of 1 000 ppm the time is longer due to the fact that it takes longer to concentrate inside the greenhouse.
