Sumari:The research carried out obtained as a problem the lack of parental participation in the learning process of the students of the ninth grade of Basic Education at Federación Deportiva de Cotopaxi Educational Unit, period 2019-2021, with the intention of controlling this problem, the following general objective was stablished: to implement workshops to determine parental participation in the academic process of ninth grade students at Federación Deportiva de Cotopaxi Educational Unit in the 2019-2021 school year. To achieve the research, a mixed research approach and applied research were used, likewise empirical, deductive, bibliographic, historical, dialectical, statistical and descriptive methods were used, the research techniques that were used were the survey, the observation sheet , PNI (Positive, Negative and Interesting), the criteria of specialists and a socialization workshop with users, methods and techniques that were fundamental in the development of the project, through which the following conclusions were obtained; Training workshops for parents were implemented to achieve active participation within the academic process, through this activity family ties were strengthened, achieving active participation within the academic process of students, finally the proposal and the evaluation of results were applied allowing to determine the positive aspects that the workshops developed in each of the families, obtaining very favorable results that undoubtedly strengthened the harmonious coexistence of the educational community.
