Adicionar Tag | Resumo: | The purpose of the following research is to elaborate a set of sustainability indicators for the agricultural sector. Since sustainability cannot be measured directly, indicators are required to determine the levels and spatio-temporal variations in the sustainability of a given activity. The use of indicators makes it possible to understand perfectly, without ambiguity, the critical points of agroecosystem sustainability. The indicators reflect the overall functioning of the system and estimate future scenarios to lead to its sustainable management, temporally and spatially. The general objective of the project is "To develop sustainability indicators for the agricultural sector". A review, compilation, and analysis of the scientific articles bibliographic information related to the subject was the methodology carried out. In the contributions used, the sustainability evaluation of productive systems, through the use of indicators, allowed obtaining a general diagnosis of the system through the measurement or observation of a reduced number of parameters. As a result of the study, we obtained a list of 90 social indicators, 78 economic indicators, and 98 environmental indicators. |
