| description | The Langoa paramo has many environmental, social, economic, and cultural problems; this project seeks to determine a system of environmental sustainability indicators for the conservation of the paramo within the Novillopungo project; through the characterization of the study area and the proposal of strategies and plans to improve the present problems. The research used the inductive-deductive method to implement the research ideas, the Pressure, and the State and Response (PER) model; the research techniques were direct observation, surveys, and bibliographic review to select the different environmental issues, describe anthropogenic activities and assess the current situation of natural resources and the environment. To respond to the research topic, a field visit was made, during which we identify the problems caused by human activities, such as agriculture, livestock, and tourism, through the application of surveys to 30 members of the San Miguelito de Langoa Cattlemen's Association, in which 19 economic indicators, 11 social indicators, 25 environmental indicators, and 5 political indicators were obtained, which led to the development of strategies to achieve ecosystem balance through environmental and economic analysis, it also evaluated their contribution to the planning and implementation of future activities as part of a sustainable development approach. In addition, the research developed strategies and activities that allowed solutions to the problems identified in the study area, considering the positive and negative impacts that are being generated in the Langoa paramo. |

In addition, the research developed strategies and activities that allowed solutions to the problems identified in the study area, considering the positive and negative impacts that are being generated in the Langoa paramo.El páramo de Langoa está siendo sometido a problemas ambientales, sociales, económicos y culturales por lo cual el presente proyecto busca determinar un sistema de indicadores de sostenibilidad ambiental para la conservación del páramo dentro del proyecto Novillopungo, a través de la caracterización del área de estudio y la propuesta de estrategias y planes para mejorar los problemas presentes. Se utilizó el método deductivo inductivo para implementar las ideas de investigación y el modelo Presión, Estado y Respuesta (PER), así mismo dentro de las técnicas de investigación está la observación directa, encuestas y revisión bibliográfica que ayudaron a seleccionar los distintos temas ambientales, describir las actividades antropogénicas y evaluar la situación actual de los recursos naturales y el medio ambiente. Para dar respuesta al tema de investigación se realizó una visita de campo, durante el cual se identificaron los problemas que ocasionan las actividades humanas que se practican en el páramo, como son la agricultura, la ganadería y el turismo, mediante la aplicación de encuestas a 30 miembros de la Asociación de Ganaderos San Miguelito de Langoa, en el que se obtuvo 19 indicadores económicos, 11 indicadores sociales, 25 indicadores ambientales y 5 indicadores políticos, lo que llevó a desarrollar estrategias para lograr el equilibrio ecosistémico mediante el análisis ambiental y económico, se evaluó su contribución a la planificación e implementación de futuras actividades como parte de un enfoque de desarrollo sostenible.
