| Riassunto: | The present research work was carried out through a study of plants species chromatics on Cutuchi river banks, Benjamin Terán bridge sector, up to Felix Valencia Street in Latacunga city, which is located at a height of 2769 meters above sea level. Its aim was to carry out a study and systematization of the chromatics of Cutuchi river banks. The field research was applied, where the common and scientific name of each species was assigned, a documentary bibliographic research was applied to select and analyze the data obtained, descriptive research was also applied, which helped in the taxonomic recognition of the species, recognition of the chromatics of Cutuchi river banks, creation of the strategy and recovery proposal. It was found that the existing vegetation cover within the Cutuchi river banks, the Benjamin Terán bridge sector up to Felix Valencia street in Latacunga city, presents a chromatic orientation towards green, it was established that the existing species are green with 63 %, dark green 18%, light green 3%, which adds up to 84%, between green, dark green and light green, evidencing that the green color predominates in the environment on the banks of the Cutuchi river, with little presence of colored species different. From the data obtained, it was possible to identify the following species: trees with species such as molle (Schinus molle), linden (Tilia, platyphyllos), cholan (Tecoma stans), red brush (Callistemon citrinus), capuli (Prunus serotina), false tobacco (Nicotiana glauca), alder (Alnus glutinosa), yellow albicia (Paraseriathes lophanta), ornamental plants such as geranium (Pelargonium sp.), shrubs such as sisal agave (Agave sisalana perrine), and shrubs such as sisal agave (Agave sisalana perrine), Zebra Aloe Vera (Aloe maculata). The recovery strategy focuses on the characteristics of balance, comfort, dimension, structure, environment and diversity; the environmental correlation of the species adapted to the sector, and above all the landscape parameter, must coincide with the colors that we find according to the chromatic circle and the type of chromatic harmonies. The proposal for the recovery of the Cutuchi river banks, the Benjamin Terán bridge sector up to Felix Valencia Street in the city of Latacunga, is elaborated on theoretical support, interaction and chromatic harmony according to the ornamental species that can be obtained and coupled to the environmental conditions of the city. |
