Add Tag | Summary: | The present project, after a meticulous and descriptive field investigation, is framed as an element of a useful nature for the understanding and semiotic interpretation of the clothing of the Moorish King, a character from the Mama Negra party in the November edition of 2018. Taking this precedent into account, a short symbolic narrative documentary will be elaborated that illustrates with images the "costume" of the character Rey Moro in the Motion Graphics technique; With this, it was proposed to carry out a symbolic narrative montage that interprets the elements of the festive costume, in an easy, simple and creative way, leading to the understanding and symbolic interpretation of the elements of the costume. During the design process of this audiovisual piece, simple illustration techniques were applied, in addition to production, editing, editing, and post-production, based on basic forms of drawing, sketches, digitalization of the Moorish King's costume, setting, and the construction of the Mechanisms used through a short documentary of the semiotic study of the character's clothing, its qualities, characteristics, construction of meanings, interpretation and enhancement of those who perform this trade, as well as the citizens of Latacunga. |
