Determinación del paisaje agrícola que influye en la incidencia de plagas en el cultivo de chocho en el barrio Colayapamba de la Parroquia Aláquez, Provincia de Cotopaxi.

The determination of the agricultural landscape and its pests incidence was carried out in the Colayapamba neighborhood of the Aláquez Parish, Cotopaxi Province, in order to know the vegetable coverage of the agricultural landscape and how this influences in the presence and spread of pests in the lupine cultivation, a vegetable coverage map was elaborated, by satellite images and the obtaining of aerial photographs with the use of a Drone, which allowed to know the vegetable coverage and the use of the ground , it was established a landscaping classification that has the fallowing structure : bare soil (22.30%), Eucalyptus Forest (23.75%), Crops: corn (20.47%), potato (3.34%) lupine (1.48%) , Pasture (16.4%), Infrastructure and streets (12.18%), in this landscape the presence of the main pests that affect the lupine cultivation were evaluated, being the most predominant: Barrenador del Ápice (Díptero) in 85.29%, Barrenador del tallo (Elasnopalpus lignosellus) in 77.35%, Chinche (Cimex lectularius) in 74,70%, y Trozador (Agrotis ipsilon) in a 40%,and each one of these pests have a high percentage of affection in different parts of the lupine plant ,especially in the stem and the of flower and pods formation; with the landscape characterization, it was concluded that exists a vegetable coverage incidence of the landscape in the presence of the pests in the lupine cultivation. As long as there exist vegetation, the attack of pests in the lupine cultivation diminishes.
