| description | The determination of the agricultural landscape and its pests incidence was carried out in the Colayapamba neighborhood of the Aláquez Parish, Cotopaxi Province, in order to know the vegetable coverage of the agricultural landscape and how this influences in the presence and spread of pests in the lupine cultivation, a vegetable coverage map was elaborated, by satellite images and the obtaining of aerial photographs with the use of a Drone, which allowed to know the vegetable coverage and the use of the ground , it was established a landscaping classification that has the fallowing structure : bare soil (22.30%), Eucalyptus Forest (23.75%), Crops: corn (20.47%), potato (3.34%) lupine (1.48%) , Pasture (16.4%), Infrastructure and streets (12.18%), in this landscape the presence of the main pests that affect the lupine cultivation were evaluated, being the most predominant: Barrenador del Ápice (Díptero) in 85.29%, Barrenador del tallo (Elasnopalpus lignosellus) in 77.35%, Chinche (Cimex lectularius) in 74,70%, y Trozador (Agrotis ipsilon) in a 40%,and each one of these pests have a high percentage of affection in different parts of the lupine plant ,especially in the stem and the of flower and pods formation; with the landscape characterization, it was concluded that exists a vegetable coverage incidence of the landscape in the presence of the pests in the lupine cultivation. As long as there exist vegetation, the attack of pests in the lupine cultivation diminishes. |

As long as there exist vegetation, the attack of pests in the lupine cultivation diminishes.La determinación del paisaje agrícola y su incidencia de plagas se realizó en el Barrio Colayapamba de la Parroquia Aláquez, Provincia de Cotopaxi con el fin de conocer la cobertura vegetal del paisaje agrícola y como este influye en la presencia y propagación de las plagas en el cultivo de chocho, se elaboró un mapa de cobertura vegetal, por medio de imágenes satelitales y la obtención de fotografías aéreas con la utilización de un Dron que fueron georreferenciadas, lo que permitió conocer la cobertura vegetal y uso de suelo, se estableció una clasificación paisajística que se estructura de la siguiente manera: Suelo Desnudo ( 22,30% ), Bosque de Eucalipto ( 23,75% ), Cultivos: maíz ( 20,47% ), papa ( 3,34%) chocho ( 1,48% ), Pasto ( 16,4% ), Infraestructura y calles ( 12,18%), en este paisaje se evaluó la presencia de las principales plagas que afectan al cultivo de chocho, siendo las de mayor predominancia: Barrenador del Ápice (Díptero) en un 85.29%, Barrenador del tallo (Elasnopalpus lignosellus) en un 77.35%, Chinche (Cimex lectularius) en un 74,70%, y Trozador (Agrotis ipsilon) en un 40%, y cada una de estas plagas tienen un alto porcentaje de afección en diferentes partes de la plata de chocho, especialmente en el tallo y la formación de flores y vainas; con la caracterización del paisaje se concluyó que existe incidencia de la cobertura vegetal del paisaje en la presencia de plagas del cultivo de chocho.
